The reason why text message marketing is so powerful is because it's short and sweet. The recipients don't need to scroll, click on links, open programs, etc. in order to understand what you're offering. Therefore your 160 character or less message needs to be a call to action, direct to the point and enticing.

People choose receiving text messages over e-mail as they don't have the time to open, read, click, wait, read, reply, etc. when being informed about something. So you need to keep your message to the point in as few of words as possible.

  • Include details about discounts, locations and even keywords
